Lan Su Chinese Garden

An authentic Ming Dynasty-style garden in the heart of Portland's Old Town Chinatown.

About Lan Su Chinese Garden

Lan Su Chinese Garden is a tranquil oasis in the heart of Portland. Built by 65 artisans from Suzhou, China, Portland's sister city, the garden is an authentic replica of a Ming Dynasty scholar's garden. Every element, from the hand-carved granite to the teakwood architecture, was crafted in China and assembled in Portland. The garden features a central lake, covered walkways, a tea house, and meticulously curated rockeries and plants.
