The Portland Japanese Garden is a 12-acre haven of tranquility nestled in the West Hills of Portland. Consistently ranked among the most authentic Japanese gardens outside of Japan, it features eight distinct garden styles, including a traditional tea garden, a natural stream garden, a sand and stone garden, and a stunning flat garden. From many points in the garden, you can see Mount Hood on a clear day, adding a dramatic natural backdrop to the carefully curated landscapes.
